Claire joins the Wiggly team

We’re delighted to welcome Claire Foote as our new General Manager – Claire joins the Wiggly team on Monday 3 July 2023. We can’t wait!
Claire has both public and private sector experience in building trusted partnerships, operational and strategic planning, managing governance structures, developing and implementing policy, drafting articles, speeches and managing communication channels. These are all really important skills for our GM role, so we’re delighted to have Claire’s expertise to complement our team.
Claire has managed corporate charitable budgets and has been the lead liaison with the Invictus Games foundation, amongst other charitable projects. She prioritises operating with kindness and integrity. Now Claire is keen to move to the charitable sector as she wants to make a difference in our Gloucestershire communities, working on projects which add real value and have positive impact for others so Wiggly is a perfect match.
Claire believes in our values of Learn, Cook and Share and loves our focus on providing life opportunities through food. Claire has always been passionate about food, good nutrition, and local and seasonal ingredients. She enjoys spending her weekends cooking and baking at home and knows how important sharing food together can be for bringing families and communities together.
