Volunteering at Wiggly is about more than just helping in the kitchen - it's about making connections, learning new skills, and creating an inclusive community where everyone can enjoy cooking and eating together.
"I first came to Wiggly in September 2023 as a cookery course participant, after struggling with the pace of a commercial kitchen. Since then, I’ve grown so much in both my kitchen skills and confidence. Now, I regularly volunteer in the Wiggly kitchens and at the gardens with Project Grow.
Wiggly and Project Grow are helping me build my CV and showcase my employability skills, giving me the confidence to work towards paid employment."

COoking sessions
Assist our chefs in inclusive cooking classes.
- Help set up and run cooking workshops for individuals of all abilities.
- Support participants in learning new skills and boosting confidence in the kitchen.
- No prior experience needed – just bring enthusiasm!
Event support
Help us run fundraising and community events.
- Assist in organising and managing charity events.
- Engage with attendees, help set up, and ensure smooth operations.
- Ideal for those who enjoy event planning, hospitality, or just love helping out in person.
Fundraising

- Organise your own fundraiser or take part in Wiggly-led fundraising campaigns.
