Meet Lou

When Louise first joined Enrich, she had never ridden a bike before. “I had no balance at all,” she shared, remembering how, as a child, she would sit on the back of her mum’s bike but never learned to ride herself. But this year, at 38, she gave it a go—and now, she’s hooked. “I want to do it all again!”

For Louise, Enrich has been about more than just learning to cycle. It’s given her the confidence to open up to people and be herself. Every Tuesday, she looks forward to coming in, getting stuck into activities like Tai Chi, healthy eating workshops, and cooking sessions—her risotto and chicken dish even made it onto Instagram!

More than anything, Enrich has helped her feel stronger, both physically and mentally. After losing her dad in 2022, she struggled with her well-being, but finding a space where she could stay active and connect with others has made a huge difference. “I’m on top of things now,” she says. “Walking, being here—it’s been fantastic.”

It’s also helped her with her health and weight goals. Louise has been focusing on eating healthier and staying active, and the results have been incredible!  “I walk everywhere now,” she says, explaining how her weekly routine keeps her moving. And while she admits she has a soft spot for mayonnaise, she’s determined to make healthier choices. “I’ve done it before, taken it off, put it back on again, but now I realise I need to lose a bit more weight without sauces.”

And when asked if she’d like to keep coming back next year? “Yes, please! I would love to continue.”

Stories like Louise’s are why we do what we do at Wiggly
